We’re proud to announce that Carrot has been named to Fast Company’s prestigious annual list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies for 2022.

This year’s list honors businesses that are making the biggest impact on their industries and culture as a whole — ultimately thriving in today’s ever-changing world. These companies are creating the future today with some of the most inspiring accomplishments of the 21st century. In addition to the World's 50 Most Innovative Companies, 528 organizations are recognized across 52 categories, with Carrot featured as one of the 10 most innovative companies in the workplace.

Since day one, Carrot’s mission has been to make fertility care accessible and affordable to all regardless of age, race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or geography. We now cover nearly 1 million lives globally and work with more than 400 employers across a wide range of industries including financial and legal services, retail, technology, automotive, professional sports, food and beverage, entertainment, and more.

In the last year, we’ve doubled down on delivering a personalized experience for our members with the launch of Carrot Plans. Each new Carrot member can receive a personalized plan — there are over 200,000 possible combinations of options — tailored to their specific needs, goals, and health concerns. Carrot’s team of experts consider factors like medical history and gender identity to develop a unique, step-by-step guide to help members reach their fertility and family-forming goals. Plans might include suggestions on LGBTQ+-affirming adoption agencies, legal considerations around adoption, mental health resources, gestational carrier agencies, matching with BIPOC providers, and more. Members can lean on experts for unlimited one-on-one support throughout their journey after receiving their plans.

Fast Company’s editors and writers sought out the most groundbreaking businesses across the globe and industries. They also judged nominations received through their application process.

The World’s Most Innovative Companies is Fast Company’s signature franchise and one of its most highly anticipated editorial efforts of the year. It provides both a snapshot and a road map for the future of innovation across the most dynamic sectors of the economy.

“The world’s most innovative companies play an essential role in addressing the most pressing issues facing society,” said Fast Company Deputy Editor David Lidsky.
